Legal
Cookie notice.
This notice explains how nat-quest.com, run by NatQuest Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser storage, and the choices you have.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Sessioncookies last until you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for a set period. First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting;third-party cookies are set by other services embedded in it. Browser storage (such as localStorage) works similarly: small values kept by your browser for a site.
What we use, and why
We keep this deliberately minimal. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile loads on enquiry pages to check for automated abuse; its operation is described below. We store two display preferences in your browser:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
nq-announcement-dismissed | localStorage (first-party, functional) | Remembers that you dismissed the announcement bar so it stays closed. | Until you clear your browser data |
If we introduce analytics or embed third-party content in future, we will update this notice first and, where required, ask for your consent.
Enquiry security
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on enquiry forms. It processes browser and network signals to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. The integration uses no pre-clearance setting to grant access to other pages. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information and our privacy notice. If verification is unavailable, you can email us directly.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings, typically under Privacy or Site Data. If you block storage, the announcement dismissal and animation preference will not be remembered between visits. Guidance for common browsers is available from your browser's help pages, and general information about cookies is at aboutcookies.org.uk.
