Intelligent systems for procurement and supply chains.
We build and deploy intelligent systems that turn trusted commercial knowledge into faster, better decisions, inside your infrastructure, under your governance, with auditability designed in from the start.
Commercial IntelligenceCommercial Intelligence is the disciplined application of artificial intelligence, trusted data, market insight and commercial judgement to decisions that create, protect or recover organisational value. How it works →

What it covers
What can NatQuest build for you?
Explore OpenTender.AI early access and SCM Genius Network specialist support. For a requirement beyond these offers, we build a system around it, deployed the same way, inside your own environment.
OpenTender.AI.
Builds a private, searchable bank from your past tender responses, drafts new submissions in your organisation's own voice, and scores incoming bids against criteria you define. Currently open for early access.
SCM Genius Network.
Matches your project to vetted procurement, contracts and supply chain specialists by AI, from a fifteen-minute brief to engagement in days. Live now, no retainers.
Spend, market and supplier analysis.
Where the decision is not tendering or sourcing capacity (spend visibility, supplier risk, category or market analysis), we build a system around it directly, following the same deployment and governance model as the platforms.
How the offer works
- AI-assisted
- Expertise
- Project-led
How do you know you need this?
None of these alone is unusual. Two or three together usually mean the gap is the system, not the people working around it.
- Tender responses get rebuilt from scratch every time, because nothing from the last one was reusable.
- A good specialist takes weeks to find, by which point the requirement has moved on.
- Spend and market data exists somewhere, but nobody can turn it into an answer before the decision is due.
- An AI tool was bought, but nobody can explain what a specific output was based on.
- IT and security need answers about where a system runs and who can see what, before any pilot can start.

Common questions
Frequently asked.
What does NatQuest's technology practice build?
NatQuest's technology practice builds and deploys intelligent systems for procurement and supply chain decisions: OpenTender.AI technology, SCM Genius Network specialist expertise, and bespoke systems built around a specific decision inside a client's own environment. Every system is built so the reasoning behind an output can be inspected, not just its conclusion.
What is the difference between OpenTender.AI, the SCM Genius Network and a bespoke system?
OpenTender.AI and the SCM Genius Network are ready platforms, for tendering and for specialist matching, available now. A bespoke system is built where neither platform fits: spend analysis, supplier risk, category or market decisions. It follows the same deployment and governance model, sized to the decision it serves.
What does it mean for a system to be 'deployed inside your infrastructure'?
In practice, it runs inside your own cloud environment, or in a private, single-tenant deployment set up for you alone, never a shared, multi-client service. Access, model choice, hosting and integration points are agreed before build starts; the deployment model is one of the first things a technology engagement scopes.
What is decision intelligence?
Decision intelligence is the design of how a decision actually gets made (the evidence it draws on, the criteria it's judged against, and the record it leaves) so the outcome doesn't depend on who happens to be in the room. It's the discipline NatQuest's technology practice builds systems around.
Do we need our own data science or AI team before we start?
No. The platforms are ready to use without an internal AI team, and bespoke systems are built and supported by NatQuest's technology practice. Where a client wants to run or extend a system themselves over time, that capability is transferred deliberately as part of the engagement, rather than assumed to already exist.
How does a technology engagement start?
With the decision, not the technology: which decision is slow, inconsistent or hard to defend, and what evidence should be informing it. That scopes what actually gets built (platform, bespoke system, or both) and the deployment and governance model that will sit around it. Contact the team to start that conversation.
Can a NatQuest system work alongside our existing procurement or case-management tools?
Integration is scoped as part of the engagement rather than assumed. A system is built to work alongside the procurement, contract or case-management tools already in place, reading from them and feeding back into them, rather than requiring them to be replaced first.
