Legal
Privacy notice.
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This notice covers visits to nat-quest.com and enquiries about NatQuest, SCM Genius Network, OpenTender.AI and ValueNovation. It does not replace the privacy information supplied for a client engagement or platform account.
Who is responsible
NatQuest Limited is the controller for the personal information described here. We are registered in Scotland, company number SC762053, at Inspire Hub, Level 6 Graham Hill Building, 50 Richmond Street, Glasgow G1 1XP. Contact hello@nat-quest.com with “Privacy” in the subject, or write to our registered office.
Information you give us
When you enquire, you may provide your name, work email, organisation, role, sector, service interests, how you heard about us and your message. We also receive the correspondence you send and information needed to respond. Please provide only relevant business information; do not include sensitive personal information or confidential tender documents in an initial enquiry.
When you select “Send enquiry”, the form sends your details to our Cloudflare-hosted submission service for storage in a Cloudflare D1 database. The page displays a reference after storage is confirmed. Typing into a form alone does not submit your enquiry. You can also contact us by email; your email provider handles that message under its own terms and privacy notice.
Making an enquiry is voluntary. Fields marked as required help us identify and answer your request; without contact details we cannot reply. You can email us directly instead of using a form.
Why we use information
We use enquiry details to answer questions, discuss relevant services and manage business correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to prospective clients and running our business. If you personally request steps towards a contract with us, we use the information necessary for those steps on the basis of that request. We may also retain information to meet legal obligations or address disputes.
A brochure or early-access enquiry is a request for information about that subject. It is not permission for unrelated marketing.
Website operation and browser storage
Delivering a web page involves technical information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser details. Hosting and security services may process request records to deliver and protect the site. The website code does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for automated abuse and processes technical browser and network signals for that purpose. Our endpoint also uses your IP address to limit repeated requests; IP addresses and verification tokens are not stored in our enquiry table. We rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the service for these checks. Two preferences are stored on your device: announcement dismissal and animation pause. See our cookie notice.
Automated security checks may block a form submission. You can contact us by email if you cannot use the form. These checks do not determine access to our paid services or make procurement decisions about you.
Who can receive information
Enquiries are handled by the NatQuest team and service providers supporting business email, hosting and IT, including Cloudflare for enquiry storage and submission security. See Cloudflare’s privacy information. Relevant professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary for advice, a dispute or a legal obligation. We do not offer enquiry information for sale.
Provider processing locations can differ from our registered office. For information about any overseas processing of your enquiry and the applicable transfer safeguards, contact us. We do not describe this website as providing UK-only data storage.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on whether your enquiry is open, whether follow-up is still relevant, whether it leads to an engagement, and any legal or dispute-related requirement. Information should be deleted or anonymised when those purposes no longer require it. You can ask us about the retention applicable to your correspondence. Browser preferences remain on your device until you clear them.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your data. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. Send requests to hello@nat-quest.com. We may need to verify your identity and will explain any applicable limits.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator. You do not need to complain to us first.
Changes and other services
We will update this notice when the website’s handling of personal information changes. External websites have their own notices. Before using a NatQuest platform or sharing project data, read the privacy information and service terms applicable to that engagement.
